Every day, large amounts of high-level radioactive wastes created by nuclear power reactors is placed in interim storage, which is vulnerable to natural disasters, man-made disasters, terrorism and societal changes. "Into Eternity" is the first feature documentary to explore the mind-boggling scientific and philosophical questions that long-term nuclear waste storage poses. With its stark, stylistic approach, "Into Eternity" not only raises questions about the possibility of long-term nuclear waste storage, but also invites reflection on the limits of science and human knowledge, along with our responsibility to future generations. 75 minutes, with a short Q & A to follow.
