State of the Birds Annual Report
2016 was the fifth year for bird banding at Sugarloaf Cove. During that time we have banded more than 4,000 birds, seen returns of more than 500 of these birds, caught and studied 79 different species of birds and begun to see some interesting trends in the birds that live at Sugarloaf as well as those who migrate through.
