Lake Superior College Holiday Choir Concert

Get ready to hum or sing along during the free Lake Superior College holiday choir concert in LSC's Atrium.

The LSC Concert Choir, directed by Patricia Dorn, will perform "Carol of the Bells,""Sleigh Ride," and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" as well as a Hebrew New Year’s song and "Hope For Resolution," a powerful piece which juxtaposes a European chant melody (Of the Father’s Love Begotten) and an anti-apartheid song from South Africa.

The Duluth Community Orchestra will perform holiday pieces by Handel, Praetorius, Scott, Bach, and Ades.  The DCO is conducted by Josh Aerie and meets weekly during the school year.  The orchestra offers community amateur musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform orchestral repertoire in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
