Lake Superior Landscape Painting Workshop

At Naturally Superior Adventures and Rock Island Lodge, Fall is all about Arts in the Wild. Fall colours and the storm season on Lake Superior produce some of the most dramatic and powerful landscapes a painter can experience. Certainly Canada’s Iconic Group of Seven were highly influenced by Superior, North Shore landscapes and Algoma Fall colours.

We’re very pleased to have acrylic/oils artist Taimi Poldmaa lead this Painting Lake Superior Workshop. A resident of Sault Ste. Marie and owner of Berkana Art Studio, www.berkanastudio.ca, her focus is on teaching students to experience "seeing" with an artist’s eye, to observe and define their vision by developing expressive painting skills and techniques.
