to
Clyde Iron Works 2920 West Michigan Street, Duluth, Minnesota 55806
Emergency care, also known as Emergency Medical Services (EMS), is a system that is activated by an incident that causes serious illness or injury. EMS is most easily recognized when emergency vehicles or helicopters are seen responding to emergency incidents. But EMS is much more than a ride to the hospital. It is a system of coordinated response and emergency medical care, involving multiple people and agencies. This event will explore research that has promoted improved quality of trauma patient care. This event is free and open to the public, as well as medical professionals to learn about advances in pre-hospital emergency care and the innovative research that is improving trauma care in our communities.
