Lecture: End-of-life Care Planning

On Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 5 p.m – 7 p.m, UMD’s Center for Ethics and Public Policy is sponsoring a public lecture on end-of-life care planning in Minnesota. The event will take place at UMD’s Solon Campus Center (Room #120). Free and open to the public.
Dr. Barbara Elliott will speak about various complications regarding end-of-life planning in the Northland, including POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment), DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) orders, Advance Directives and Proxy Consent.
