Everyone is invited to the Lake Superior Zoo’s Earth Hour Celebration on Saturday, March 23. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and guests will enjoy acoustic music, a campfire with blazing-hot soup and delicious s’mores, star gazing with the Arrowhead Astronomical Society and lamp-light tours of the zoo grounds until 9 p.m. The event is free for members; non-members are $15 per family or $7.50 for individuals.
Earth Hour brings together communities from across the world in celebrating their commitment to the planet by switching off lights for one designated hour, which is from 8:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23.
