From Deer Camp to Grand Lodges: A History in Photos
to
Kaufman Auditorium 611 N. Front St., Marquette, Michigan 49855
The Marquette Regional History Center presents: From Deer Camp to Grand Lodges – A History in Photos.
Jack Deo of Superior View Photos will present, on the big screen, vintage photographs of deer camps from all over the Upper Peninsula. There will be pictures of some of the roughest hunting camps to some of the finest. You will see photos of grand lodges of the McCormick Tract, the Huron Mountain Club and Granot Loma. We will pay tribute to Buck LeVasseur with some great images and stories, and invoke Fred Rydholm when we view many of his classic photographs. Jack is very entertaining and you will learn something, too. Thank you to RTI/Pioneer Surgical for sponsoring this event.
This event takes place at Kaufman Auditorium on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets in advance are $12; $15 at the door. Purchase them at the History Center or online at marquettehistory.org
