The Minnesota Ballet launches its 50th anniversary season with a Gala Performance featuring excerpts from past favorites including Gilbert Reed’s 1977 “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” and Robert Gardner’s “Northern Lights.” It all ends with Allen Fields’ high-flying “Rough Cut Swing” to the North Shore Big Band playing live.
