MN Master Naturalist Volunteer Training

Join expert instructors Larry Weber and John Geissler in an amazing 18,000-acre Northwoods classroom to complete a 40-hour hands-on course. This program allows participants to study natural history, environmental interpretation and conservation stewardship. Spring is a great time of year to see wildflowers, budding trees, insects, migrating birds, and more. Final MN Master Naturalist certification comes with the completion of 40 hours of volunteer service.
Free camping available onsite along the beautiful shores on Boulder Lake and a minute walk to the classroom. Meals are on your own. We have a full kitchen with refrigerator/microwave/oven that you are more than welcome to use.
Individuals interested may not register for single programs—the training is intended for those committed to attending all meetings listed.
The course cost is $275 and includes course manuals and supplies.
