Mni Sota: Reflections of Time and Place is an exhibit that features works by 17 Native American artists from the Minnesota region. The artists provide stunning examples of how Native artists of the region contribute to the artistic heritage of their people. This one-of-a-kind exhibit explores the idea of "traditional" Native American art. An opening reception will be Tuesday, June 12, from 5-7 p.m. This exhibit, like all exhbits at the Tweed, is free. A Community Event is planned for Saturday, July 21, from 2-4 p.m., at the American Indian Community Housing Organization; and there will be a Family Day at the Tweed Museum, Saturday, August 25, from 2-4 p.m. For more information, go to www.d.umn.edu/tma.
