As children, Electra and Orestes are banished by their mother after witnessing her brutally murder their father. Finally coming of age, they return to avenge King Agamemnon by killing Klytemnestra. We witness as the city divides over deciding their fate; should they be executed or banished? Inflamed by war, emotions escalate as many in the city are calling for blood. Based on the Euripides’ play, Helen Edmundson skillfully explores human tragedy against the backdrop of war.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students. All Thursday performances are $5 for all tickets. Tickets can be pre-ordered by contacting the Spotlight Box Office at 218-723-7000. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
