In partnership with the Garden Bouquet & Design and Lanni Lantto, fashion (re) designer, the Marquette Regional History Center presents the 7th annual (re)Design Fashion Show. This event is the largest gathering of upcycled artists in the Upper Peninsula. The event showcases fashion by local designers, Lanni Lantto, Taylor Ehle, Libby Buchler, and Denise Zdroik. Each designer will present their 2016 clothing line during this high energy runway show. This fashion show is for all ages and each item is wearable and for sale. Local craft vendors will also be at the event. Accessories, original artwork and more will be on display –perfect for gift items or something for you. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for 18 and under. They are available now at the History Center and will be available at the door. Proceeds from this event will benefit the History Center.
The Marquette Regional History Center is a private non-profit organization founded in 1918. The Center is a place where you will find regional history connecting to everyday lives. Visit the permanent exhibit gallery to the changing special exhibit gallery, become a member, attend an event or program, do research in the J.M. Longyear Research Library.
