Rossport Islands Sea Kayak Festival

Rossport Islands Sea Kayak Festival is a biannual sea kayak gathering hosted by Naturally Superior Adventures of Wawa, Ontario, and Superior Outfitters of Rossport, Ontario, June 21-24, in the village of Rossport, Ontario. The festival offers high-quality instruction, guided trips and an array of non-paddling activities such as sailboat tours and yoga. The symposium will include voyageur canoe tours from the Rossport docks, an Iron-Chef Camp cook-off, on-water instruction from certified instructors, land-based workshops, guided trips in the Rossport Islands and the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area with knowledgeable guides. There will also be opportunities to  socialize with other like-minded paddlers. Festival workshops and tours will be based out of Rainbow Falls Provincial Park and its Rossport Campground east of the town of Rossport. More information is at www.rossportsymposium.ca.
