Empty Bowl

The Empty Bowl fundraiser will be Tuesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Depot, 506 W. Michigan Street, Duluth. Enjoy a delicious meal of soup, bread and beverage donated by our region's best chefs and purveyors. Choose a handcrafted empty bowl created by area artists, school children and community members for $20. You can also participate in the silent auction featuring the best works from area artists. Sea of Bowls is the Empty Bowl preview night, and it happens Monday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m., also at The Depot. Get first choice of your fine-art bowl at our gallery style showing, complete with reception. The event is free; bowls range in price from $25 to $100. Empty Bowl benefits Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, providing food for more than 3.9 million meals annually to people in need throughout northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.
