Plot Description: Drama and the plight for love abound in 18th century England in the Kate Hamill adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. With the untimely death of their father, sisters Elinor and Marianne are in desperate search for husbands. Marianne is pressured to be with the “more mature” Colonel Brandon; but, has her sights on the young and dashing Willoughby. Meanwhile, Elinor has fallen in love with Edward Ferrars and as drama ensues, the sisters must find the balance between sense and sensibility or threaten their chances of happily ever after. Will they find the love that their hearts truly desire? Or will the harsh realities of life ruin their chances at a fairy tale ending?
