Short Story Workshop

Lake Superior Writers group offers a Short Story Workshop that runs Thursdays, June 7, 14, 21 & 28, from 6-8 p.m. This introduction to writing short stories focuses on creating vivid scenes, compelling characters and a powerful overall narrative structure. Participants will read and discuss master short story writers and also work on their own material in the workshop. All levels are welcome. The instructor is Felicia Schneiderhan, who writes short stories, essays and magazine articles of all kinds. She also teaches at the College of St. Scholastica. The cost is $65 for Lake Superior Writers members, $85 for non-menbers, and $50 for students. Marshall Professional Building, ARAC Meeting Room (suite 120).
