"Spring Gayla" for Duluth-Superior Pride

Duluth-Superior Pride will soon celebrate its first “Spring Gayla” fundraiser at Greysolon Ballroom. The formal event will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. The fundraiser will honor FOX 21’s Dan Hanger with our first “Shining Star Award.” Hanger is the first openly gay news anchor in the Twin Ports and he performs abundant charity work for many organizations. The event will feature: hors d’oeuvres from New Scenic Café, cocktails at an elegant cash bar, silent and live auctions with high-end prizes and art, Dan Hanger as master of ceremonies, a gourmet dinner, dancing featuring DJ services from After Dark Entertainment, photography, games and more. All proceeds will go to the DS Pride Festival.
