Spring Wildflower Walk

Jay Cooke State Park is offering a free Spring Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 17, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. The 1-mile walk will take us across the park's swinging bridge to view the wide variety of wildflowers the park has in bloom. Meet at the River Inn Interpretive Center. Although the program is free, a vehicle permit is needed on any vehicles entering a Minnesota State Park. Permits can be purchased upon arrival for $5 for a day or $25 for an annual permit. Travel note: Enter the park through our west entrance in Carlton and Thomson on Highway 210.
