St. David's Day Open Mic Reading

Spirit Lake Poetry Series will host the 16th annual St. David’s Day open reading on Wednesday, February 22, at 7 p.m. at Teatro Zuccone, 222 E. Superior St., Duluth.This event honors the anniversary of the canonization of St. David, the patron saint of Wales. All poets, from novice writers to those with established reputations, are invited to read a single original poem and/or a favorite piece by another author. Prizes will be given for both categories, including books and the much-esteemed poetry chair. Admission to this event is free and open to the public.
