Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum in Duluth offers the exhibit "The Civil War: The Beginning," which will run through April. The exhibit features first-hand documents from the early years of the Civil War, with manuscripts from Jefferson Davis, Abraham Lincoln and others. This exhibit is to be followed in late April by its companion exhibit featuring documents from the later years of the Civil War. The Civil War exhibit is free and open to the public. Karpeles is open Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., at 902 East 1st Street.
