The King of the Bay Drag Races on Chequamegon Bay (west side of Ashland on Highway 2) features 660-foot, four lane side-by-side drags, two on shaved ice, two on groomed snow, including vintage snowmobile drags. Registration is on Friday; racing starts 10 a.m. Saturday. Parking and admission is free for spectators.
