Slice into wedding history with this interactive event day at the History Center. Our first Saturday at the Center of 2015 will serve you up a helping of wedding cake history - from the origins of traditions to local customs. The history of wedding cakes dates back to Roman times; see how cakes have evolved through a slide show and taste some current examples. Q&A with a professional local baker. Bring in photos of your wedding cake to share. This program kicks off our new special exhibit, “Let’s Tie the Knot.” Included with museum admission.
