Marquette Regional History Center presents "Saturday at the Center March: Decade of Change: 1960s," from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join the history center for activities and displays all themed around the 1960s. That decade brought change in the form of war, protest, assassinations, music, fashion and lifestyle. You will be entertained with groovy dancing, music and sights of the era. Take part in the costume contest by arriving in fashion from the era; the contest starts at 1 p.m. The event is geared toward all ages. The program is included with museum admission.
Saturday at the Center, the third-Saturday Series at the History Center, is an open-house format, hands-on and activity day featuring a new theme each month. It runs January through April 2014, each to feature a particular decade. Supported in part by the Marquette Breakfast Rotary.
