Things That Go Buzz, Croak, Hoot, and Bump in the Night!

Lois King Education Center at Friends of Sax-Zim Bog Welcome Center 8793 Owl Ave, Meadowlands, Minnesota 55765
As Spring makes itself known in the Sax-Zim Bog, we always like to start our Spring & Summer Field Trip Season with this special evening program! Though it still may approach 30 degrees during the night, spring in the Bog is full of life. Dusk is a great time to SEE and HEAR some of the unique critters of the bog. On this evening field trip, we will listen and search for early season frog species, American Bittern, Wilson’s Snipe, American Woodcock, Great Gray Owls, and more! Please bring a head lamp or flashlight and mud boots to keep your feet dry during this field trip.
***REGISTRATION REQUIRED***
Field Trip attendance is free for Friends of Sax-Zim Bog members (those who have donated $25 or more within the past year). If you are interested in membership, the $25 fee covers membership and free entry to all field trips and programs (excluding workshops) in a 12-month period!
