Enjoy the tradition of TubaChristmas as thirty tuba and euphonium musicians grace Downtown Marquette with an amazing performance on Sunday, December 7. The performance begins at 1 p.m. on West Washington Street in the “Pocket Park” (next to The Wild Rover.)
TubaChristmas is an international event and is held on various dates during the Christmas season in hundreds of different cities across the United States and in other countries. It has been a tradition in cities throughout the world since the first TubaChristmas event was held on the Ice Rink Stage of New York City’s Rockefeller Center on Sunday, December 22, 1974.
