Two Museums Bartender Challenge Fundraiser
to
Marquette Regional History Center 145 W. Spring Street, Marquette, Michigan 49855
The Marquette Regional History Center and Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will showcase the talents of local bartenders during the annual Two Museums Bartender Challenge Fundraiser.
Local bartenders will use their mixology expertise to create a “signature” drink. Bartenders will be showcasing their drink at the participating restaurants and bars, starting April 1st. Look for the banners at the participating businesses, throughout the month of April, to pre-fill your favorite bartender’s tip jar. The drinks will then be tasted by attendees at the event and judged by popular vote—your tips decide the winner! The winner will receive the grand prize travelling trophy and bragging rights to last a lifetime.
The event takes place on Thursday, April 21, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 in advance (available online or at the MRHC & UPCM) and $60 at the door. Tickets include over 12 tastes and delicious bar food.
Guests will begin at the Children’s Museum to start tasting the signature cocktails and enjoy delicious bar food. Then everyone moves on to the History Center for more cocktail tastes, more delicious bar food and the bartender challenges. There will be a mystery basket challenge and speed challenge. Participating bartenders will be judged by local foodie/drink experts –and prizes will be awarded. Lastly, guests will participate in live auctions and fun music.
