The Upper Peninsula Folklife Festival continues in March with the Beaumier Coffee House Series featuring singer/songwriters Jerry Mills and Shannon Wyatt. Donations are encouraged. This concert is sponsored by the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center. Jerry Mills is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter. For 20 years, Mills has been inspiring audiences worldwide with his original songs, stories and vocal stylings. Offering purely original and eclectic material, singer/songwriter Shannon Wyatt was born in Cleveland. Growing up playing folk guitar and classical piano, she pursued university studies in liberal arts and early childhood education in Athens Ohio and Missoula Montana, forever playing coffee houses. Shannon returned to Cleveland in 1980, releasing her first single.
