The Walk A Mile Film Project Premiere will be at 6 p.m. at Thunder Bay Community Auditorium and is free to the public. Join the Aboriginal Liaison Unit of the city of Thunder Bay for the premiere of a four-part documentary series to help fill knowledge gaps about Canada’s indigenous peoples and their histories. The documentary focuses on a cross-section of Thunder Bay residents who share their stories with the broader community. Justice Murray Sinclair of the National Truth & Reconciliation Commission will deliver a keynote address on the topic of reconciliation as it relates to respectful relationship building. Following this, we will open up the floor to the community, asking "What's next?" The overall goal is to strengthen, renew, revitalize and build cross-cultural relationships in the community. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the screening starts at 7 p.m. For more information, visit www.thunderbay.ca.
