Wildwoods Rehabilitation Fundraiser at Blue Lake Gallery

Blue Lake Gallery in Canal Park will host a fundraiser for Wildwoods Rehabilitation, 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. Blue Lake will donate 20 percent of all sales proceeds to Wildwoods.

Laura Erickson will be on hand from 3 to 5 p.m. with her Eastern Screech Owl Archimedes, and will also be signing and selling copies of her latest book, "Hawk Ridge: Minnesota's Birds of Prey."

Jackie Fallon, of Lake Superior Zoo and a falconer, will be at Blue Lake from 5 to 7 p.m. with her Harris Hawk.

Blue Lake Gallery will provide hot coffee and cider to compliment treats provided by Amazing Grace. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction for a Day of Dog-Sledding for a family of 4 with Outdoor EdVentures, a $350 value.

Wildwoods is a 501c3 nonprofit in Duluth that helps orphaned and injured animals return to their natural habitats while providing education and resources for the general public on living harmoniously with wild animals.
