Winter Concert for Habitat for Humanity

Local musicians will lend their talents to benefit Habitat for Humanity Sunday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 1000 Washington Ave., Cloquet, Minnesota. This is the 15th year Zion Lutheran has hosted a concert for Habitat for Humanity. Music styles will include jazz, classical, brass, wind, piano, choral, pipe organ and a few hymns. Performers range from area professionals to talented amateurs. There will be fresh-baked apple pie served afterwards, featuring apples from Zion's own organic orchard. A free-will offering will be taken on behalf of Western Lake Superior Habitat for Humanity. Funds raised will be used to remodel and repair homes across the region in 2012. Western Lake Superior Habitat relies solely on local donations to support its mission.
