Visit Duluth President/CEO Honored
Terry Mattson, president and CEO of Visit Duluth, was officially congratulated by the Minnesota Senate for being named Minnesota’s Outstanding Individual in Tourism earlier this year. State Senator Roger Reinert introduced the congratulatory resolution in March, and this week, at the annual Visit Duluth luncheon, Terry was presented with his own authenticated, enrolled copy by Visit Duluth Board Member Dan Hartman, standing in for Roger.
During his 23-year tenure, tourism in Duluth has grown nearly tenfold to a roughly $800 million industry today.
