Mary Carlin Dougherty
The Cookery Maven made our mouths water with this post about making cinnamon-sugar popovers on a snowy morning. Mary Carlin Dougherty writes:
One of the blogs I follow, David Lebovitz, had a post about sugar crusted popovers— perfect for the morning after our first snowfall. I used the Meeker’s recipe, buttered and sugared the popovers and had the most lovely morning watching the snow fall outside my kitchen window.
Get the recipe at The Cookery Maven and give it a shot this weekend. That's what we'll be doing!
Mary first came to Bayfield, Wisconsin, a dozen years ago via the Isle of Skye, the family sailboat, and found "home." Four years ago she and Ted packed up their five children and four dogs and moved to the Bayfield Peninsula. Today she co-owns Good Thyme Restaurant & Catering in Washburn. Mary loves to write about her peninsula life with good food, great family and friends and, of course, the Big Lake. We're pleased to feature Mary's blog as part of our regular blogger favorites.
