From the International Lake Superior Board of Control's latest report:
This past month the water supplies to Lake Superior were slightly below average while supplies to the Michigan-Huron basin were well above average. Lake Superior is currently 22 cm (9 inches) below its chart datum level. The level of Lake Superior is expected to rise during May. Currently, the Lake Superior level is about 33 cm (13 inches) below its long-term average beginning-of-May level, and is 3 cm (1 inch) below the level recorded a year ago. This past month the level of Lake Superior rose 8 cm (3 inches), which is the average amount it rises in April.
