Renegade Theater Company offers the regional premiere of an all-new stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s "The Great Gatsby," adapted by Simon Levy. The production is directed by Katy Helbacka and runs April 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, at Teatro Zuccone, 222 East Superior St. in Duluth. All performances are at 8 p.m. Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, passionately pursues the elusive Daisy Buchanan. Nick Carraway, a young newcomer to Long Island, is drawn into their world of obsession, greed and danger. The glamour and decadent excess of the Jazz Age in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel come to the stage in Simon Levy's adaptation, the only one in North America to be authorized and approved by the Fitzgerald Estate.
