Zeitgeist Arts Building 222 East Superior Street , Duluth, Minnesota 55802
The 2015 Duluth Superior Film Festival presents film, music and art at various venues around Duluth and the region, including Zinema 2, Teatro Zuccone, Clyde Iron Works and the Red Star Lounge, as well as the Eveleth Auditorium in Eveleth, Minnesota. Because of the outstanding rebate and tax incentive program in Minnesota and on the Iron Range, much of this year’s festival will focus on regional productions. As many as 11 feature films and all of the short films will have some sort of regional influence. All films are free, but donations will be accepted at each of the screening venues and special events. The official opening night will be Wednesday, June 3, at Clyde Iron Works, where the festival will screen the international film hit “What We Do in the Shadows." Post screening reception will be in the Clyde Iron mezzanine with complimentary appetizers provided by Clyde Iron Works and free beer provided by Lake Superior Brewing. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the film is at 8 p.m. The closing night will feature the 10-year anniversary screening of "North Country" at 8 p.m. in the Eveleth Auditorium. Additionally, many films will have directors, producers, actors and film subjects in attendance. For more details, visit www.ds-ff.com or www.facebook.com/DSFilmFest.
