Hosted by the UMD Department of Music, the 3rd annual Flute Day is an event geared towards advanced middle school and high school students. This event will feature a flute choir and a masterclass by Dr. Paula Gudmundson, assistant professor of flute at the University of Minnesota Duluth campus featuring the event’s flute ensemble and the UMD Flute Ensemble. This year will include works with a contrabass flute.
