A Tour of Islay - A Scotch Tasting

Reserve your seat to join Commodore David Coleman for a program featuring a photographic tour by sailboat around the island where whaleback ship builder Alexander McDougall was born. A buffet dinner at the Kitchi Gammi Club in Duluth will feature traditional Scottish pub fare such as Haggis, Cock-a-Leekie Soup, Scottish Eggs, Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce and more. This event is a fundraiser for continued restoration of the SS Meteor whaleback ship. (Commodore Coleman, a Duluth native, is a retired professor of chemistry, scotch aficionado and is currently authoring a comprehensive biography of Alexander McDougall.)
