The annual Anishnawbe Keeshigun Aboriginal Festival will once again bring the beating of the drums to Fort William Historical Park July 4 and 5. The festival highlights the culture of First Nations people with drumming, singing and dancing. Visitors can observe as artisans demonstrate their skills, or visit a crafter and see what they have for sale. Have an appetite for traditional fare? You can sample some wild rice, smoked fish or grab a cob from the corn roast. Kids can enjoy some traditional games and crafts. Have a keen eye? Test your precision at our accuracy challenges.
