The 55th annual Bayfield Apple Festival – named in the Top Ten Autumn Festivals in North America by the Society of American Travel Writers and our readers' 2014 top pick for Best Annual event on the Wisconsin shore – features more than 60 orchard and food booths, farmers market, a kids’ carnival, arts and crafts booths, and fine-art exhibitors including pottery, paintings, glassworks, photography, wood crafts, weaving and traditional Native American beading. Sunday’s parade includes 400-member “Mass Band” finale. Big Top Chautauqua’s Blue Canvas Orchestra entertains on the grandstand stage.
