Hartley Nature Center's Candlelight Ski, Skate & Snowshoe

Hartley Nature Center in Duluth celebrates the season with its 10th annual Candlelight Ski, Skate and Snowshoe Saturday, Feb. 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. It's a chance to enjoy silent woods, groomed trails, iced ponds and snowshoe access to unique areas of the park. Regardless of snowpack, there will be naturalist-led hikes, skiing a luminary-lined Hartley cross-country trail and fat-tire biking. Also, the event includes a light dinner from New Scenic Cafe, ice skating on Hartley Pond, Bent Paddle beer tasting and warm drinks and dessert in the yurt. Because this event has gotten so popular and we have limited space, you are asked to preregister. Sign up by stopping at the Nature Center or by calling 218-724-6735 during business hours. The cost is $15 for Hartley member households and $25 for non-member households.
