Candlelight Ski, Snowshoe & Hike at Jay Cooke

Jay Cooke State Park is holding a free Candlelight Ski and Snowshoe Event on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. Come and ski, snowshoe or hike miles of candlelit trail, then warm up around the bonfire with a cup of hot cocoa. You can come and go to this ongoing event anytime from 6 to 9 p.m. Adult and child snowshoes will be available to rent. Although the program is free of charge, a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is needed to enter the park. They can be purchased upon arrival for $5 for the day or $25 for an annual.
