Presented by Dr. Mark Renz, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Extension Weed Specialist at UW-Madison.
Join Dr. Mark Renz as he overviews the biology and control of invasive plants that are impacting the northwoods of Wisconsin. Dr. Renz will share about how to identify these species and what impacts they are having on the landscape. He will also provide insight as to new invaders that may appear in the future. Resources available to assist in identification, mapping, and managing will be highlighted. He will also discuss opportunities to help report invasive species as part of a citizen scientist network like Wisconsin's First Detector Network.
