Fine Arts Photography Workshop with Lali Khalid

The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center is excited to announce their Fine Art Photography Series with Lali Khalid in January 2016.
Art and Photography is a six-week workshop that will take place every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The class will be a combination of presentations, shooting assignments, critiques and photo transfers. Students will learn the basics of photography and be introduced to contemporary, critical perspectives as they explore different genres of photography. Mehreen, or Lali, Khalid was introduced to photography by her father while growing up in Pakistan. Over the past decade she has shared her passion for the art with hundreds of people through workshops, classes, and galleries all over the world. Lali earned her BFA from The National College of Art in Lahore, Pakistan, and her MFA with distinction from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. To view some of Lali’s work, visit www.lalikhalid.com.
