Gilbert and Sullivan’s One-Act Comic Opera: Trial by Jury

Trial by Jury is widely considered to be one of the most successful one-act operettas of all time, and concerns a “breech of promise of marriage” where the legal system and judge are the ultimate objects of light-hearted satire. The production will be performed by the UW-Superior Opera Workshop and University Orchestra, with stage direction by Dr. Vicki Fingalson and conducted by Dr. Erin Aldridge.
