Madeline Island Family Fall Festival

Fall is what many locals believe is the best time to be on Madeline Island. The third weekend in October is always our Family Fall Fest on Madeline Island. This is a festive time for families to take advantage of the last good weather of the season and enjoy the vivid fall colors on a spectacular island setting.

Among the many family friendly events that take place during Family Fall Fest are pumpkin decorating, a children’s costume parade, face painting, clowns and much more.

For the adults, we have numerous street vendors with everything from Wapples, which are waffles filled with apple cheese cake and caramel sauce, to hand-carved wooden spoons, to locally crafted wares from jewelry makers and many of the local artisans.
