Museum Hosts Scott Bakken USG Program

The Carlton County Historical Society welcomes Scott Bakken from Cloquet's USG Interiors to present a program on Friday, November 27, at 1 p.m. at its museum at 406 Cloquet Avenue in Cloquet, MN.
Bakken, the Aura Tone department manager, has worked at USG since 1985, and at USG's predecessor, Conwed, from 1976 to 1985. He will talk about his 39 years of experience at the Cloquet plant as part of the reception for the museum's exhibit "Wood City Smokestacks." The exhibit includes the history of Cloquet's three big wood products industries, Sappi, Jarden and USG. Part 3 of the exhibit about USG and its predecessors, Conwed and the Wood Conversion Company, will open for the reception and program.
Refreshments will be served after the program. Regular admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children under 12, and free admission for children under 5 and Carlton County Historical Society members.
