Nearly Naked Ruck March

23rd Veteran, a Duluth-area nonprofit organization, will host Duluth’s first annual Nearly Naked Ruck March on Saturday, February 27. Veterans, military personnel and civilians are invited to hike 4.5 miles with weighted packs along Duluth’s Lakewalk wearing nothing but boots, hats, gloves and long underwear.
The hike is meant to be a fun way to build camaraderie among military personnel, veterans and civilians; raise funds for our local nonprofit organization, 23rd Veteran; and increase awareness for the very serious issue of veteran suicide—which has exceeded 110,000+ nationally since 9/11.
