Paddle-Making Workshop (Bent Shaft or Straight Shaft)

Come and join us as we explore the different ways wooden paddles are made, then work on making a laminated, bent shaft paddle. We supply the wood and you will glue up the blade, shaft, and grip on the first day. In class two, we will shape and work on sanding each paddle. You'll have to do some work at home, including final sanding and varnishing.

CLASS 1: April 30, 2015, 1 to 3 p.m.

CLASS 2: May 1, 2015, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost is $80 per person. Space limited to 10 participants.
