Ryan Anderson wins Beargrease sled dog marathon; Martha Schouweiler takes mid-distance title
Musher Ryan Anderson defeated defending champ Nathan Schroeder to win the 2015 John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon by less than 30 minutes on Wednesday morning. It's Ryan's second title.
Martha Schouweiler won the mid-distance race by 10 minutes over runner-up Frank Holmberg.
The race was shortened from 400 miles to 319 because of poor trail conditions in the Duluth area.
